She graduated with honors from Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University earning her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and Master's Degree in family nurse practitioner. She has worked in a variety of settings including primary care, urgent care, intensive care, and surgical care. Subspecialty background in orthopedics and sports medicine.
